Marcus Andersson (Karlstad, Sweden)
Marcus represents the part of the software that makes the communication with the Nord Modular synthesizer possible.
Amongst other things he reverse engineered the Nord Modular Midi protocol and implemented libraries essential for exchanging data with the synthesizer in C++
He also ported these libraries to the Java language which are now used by the Nomad editor.

Jelle Herold
Jelle is the initiator of the nmEdit project. He also set up the website used for project documentation.

Ian Hoogeboom
Ian brought the idea of an implementation of the editor in the Java language to the project. He developed the JMod editor which was later detached by Nomad.

Stefan Keel (Seattle, Washington)

Stefan designed all the 110 module icons. Each icon illustrates the functionality of one module of the Nord Modular synthesizer. He has drawn the icons in the SVG vector graphics format allowing us to render them in arbitrary sizes with remaining quality.
The icons are part of the Nomad user interface and and we plan to use them as illustrations for the user manual.
See the Artwork page for examples.

Jan Punter (Enschede, Netherlands)

Jan Punter has written the comprehensive documentation of the Nord Modular patch file format. The documentation was prelimary work necessary for the implementation of the patch model and for reading and writing patch files.

Christian Schneider (Karlsruhe, Germany)
Christian developed Nomad - the Java implementation of the Nord Modular editor.
